Global
The North East of Italy has always been a very important gateway both with Europe and Asia. This is due:
- both to the geografic position, with important ways connecting East and West of Europe, and Mediterranean Areas with Germany, the Baltic and Scandinavian Countries;
- and to historical habits. Infact Venezia has been for centuries the most important trade center for Far East (India and China).
This has meant advantages and disadvantages, but in any case its culture has always been open to the ideas and apport of different Countries.
The company has grown up in this environment. It has started in the 60ies to go abroad to buy film. At the end of the 70ies also export sales have begun, at first with other European Countries, later on also overseas. The habit to international business contacts goes together with an active partecipations to international Fairs linked to various company’s activities.
But the local basis is still very important indeed. The local root means job culture, attention on a well done product, pleasure in continuosly improving.
Thus we feel GLOCAL: to have a global view, without loosing our local roots.
We feel ourselves GLObal for a number of reasons:
- the company has always developed in the international markets. In the 60ies that meant mainly buying films in European Markets;
- at the beginning of the 80ies the sales in foreign markets has started. The first sales were made in France in 1979. To stay in international markets has determined a jump in quality and a different attitude also in domestic sales, and has given us confidence and habits at international business relationships;
- it is important to be updated in the latest developments on films and tecnologies. It is necessary to visit the main business fairs in Europe.
All these can be seen at a glance here. We have gathered below the flags of the Countries in which we make sales, and the year of the first contact
